Guidelines for Prose Manuscripts

Preliminary Reading and Assessment $45.00. Please send 10 pages of prose, no more than 250 words per page (double-spaced please). This may be sent email as an attachment (.doc or .rtf files only)

After the preliminary assessment, you may choose from these options:

Option 1: Individual pieces or collection of individual pieces (double spaced; traditional 12pt font – Times New Roman, Helvetica) $3.00 per page.

Option 2: Novella, novel or sustained non-fiction piece (100-300 pages) (double-spaced; traditional 12pt font – Times New Roman, Helvetica) $2.00 per page.

If under $75.00, payment is due when you submit your manuscript; if over $75.00, half of the amount is due when you submit the manuscript, remaining half due after you receive the manuscript.

You must enclose an SASE (Self addressed stamped envelope) with sufficient postage for the return of your manuscript.

I will email you upon the arrival of the manuscript.

Please do not send your only copy of a manuscript. In most cases I will return manuscripts within a few weeks after I receive them. With longer manuscripts it may take up to 8 weeks.
